About this tool
Many "free" QR services route scans through their servers so they can track and later expire the code. This generator encodes your content directly into the QR, in your browser, so the code works forever and nobody can see who scans it. Choose size, error-correction level (M is standard; H survives logos and damage) and PNG or SVG for print.
Content can be a URL, plain text, a Wi-Fi string (WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;;) or a vCard.
How it works
- Step 1. Type or paste the content (or add a .txt file).
- Step 2. Pick size, error correction and PNG/SVG.
- Step 3. Press Make QR code and download.
Questions
Will the QR code expire?
Never — the content is inside the code itself.
How much text fits?
Up to about 2,900 characters at level L; URLs and contact cards are far smaller. The tool tells you if the content is too long.
Which error correction should I pick?
M for most uses; H if the code will be printed small, on glossy surfaces or with a logo over it.
Good to know
- No logo overlay or colours in this version.
