How this site is funded

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated

PDFConverterOnline.com is free to read and free to use. It is funded by affiliate commissions on one section only: the offline desktop PDF apps. This page explains exactly how that works, in line with the U.S. FTC's endorsement guides and Google's guidance on paid links.

Which links are affiliate links

Programs we participate in (or may apply to)

Depending on approval status, the desktop section may include links from the affiliate programs of Wondershare (PDFelement), Superace (UPDF), Adobe (Acrobat Pro), EaseUS, Foxit, Nitro, Soda PDF and Readdle (PDF Expert), operated directly or through networks such as Impact, CJ, Awin and FlexOffers. If you buy after clicking such a link we may earn a commission. You pay the same price — commissions come out of the vendor's margin, never added to yours.

How commissions do not influence rankings

  • Rankings are decided by the published methodology — output fidelity on the same test documents, free-tier generosity, price, speed and privacy policy — before any commercial consideration.
  • Several tools we recommend most strongly (PDF24 Tools, PDFgear, TinyWow, Google Docs) pay us nothing at all.
  • We do not accept payment for placement, sponsored reviews, "featured" badges or link insertion, and we do not remove honest drawbacks at a vendor's request.
  • Vendor affiliate programs are joined after a product earns its place on the page, never the other way round.
