      About this tool

Press "Take a photo" for each page (or add photos you already took). Every page is straightened, cropped to the paper, contrast-enhanced and placed on an A4, Letter or image-sized page; the result is one PDF named with today's date. It is the CamScanner job without the account, the ads or the upload — and it keeps working offline if you install this site as an app.

Follow up with OCR PDF to make the scan searchable, Compress PDF to shrink it, or Sign PDF before sending.

      How it works

      1. Step 1. Tap "Take a photo" (or choose images) for each page.
      2. Step 2. Pick page size; cleanup is on by default.
      3. Step 3. Press Scan to PDF and download or open in the reader.

      Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. Installing the site as an app only adds offline use and a home-screen icon.

      Can I make it searchable?

Yes — run the output through OCR PDF (searchable PDF output).

Why is page 2 cropped differently from page 1?

Each photo is analysed on its own; keep the camera parallel to the page and the background plain for consistent results.

      Good to know

      • Works best with plain, contrasting backgrounds.
      • No automatic perspective (keystone) correction yet.
